We're delighted to announce that Admiral Markets CEO and CFO, Sergei Bogatenkov, has been included in the list of nominees to win the Best CFO Award, courtesy of Äripäev and the BIG4 Audit Bureaus.

Sergei Bogatenkov was primarily nominated due to the fact that under his lead, Admiral Markets has consistently expanded its operations around the world and has grown into a truly global company. One particularly noteworthy initiative, which he was directly responsible for implementing, was Admiral Markets AS' recent public bond issuance and listing on the Nasdaq Tallinn Stock Exchange. This public offering was considered to be a very bold and brave step for the company.

According to Toomas Truuverk, the CFO of Äripäev, who has been a member of the judging panel for many years, even the nomination of the 6 nominees highlights their outstanding performance, exceptional organisation or excellent management throughout challenging situations – such as business internationalisation or the rapid development of technology.

The representatives of Äripäev and the BIG4 Audit Bureaus initially selected 15 CFOs to be put forward for nomination. The 6 finalists will attend in the Pärnu Finance Conference, held on 12 April, where the winner of the award will be announced.
